Once you have removed the tangles and the adhesives off your wig, soak it in cool water with shampoo. Be sure to use shampoos that are delicate on the hair. Using ordinary or strong shampoo may strip of the lust of your wig and leave it dry and frizzy. When the wig is soaked, you can carefully manipulate it by applying gentle strokes on the direction of the lace and not against it. Remember that this is a wig, so handle it with utmost care.
