When the wig is clean, gently rinse it out in cold water and allow it to drip dry. Never try to brush your wig while it is wet. The curls will return to place as the wig dries. When it is completely dry, you can brush or pick out your wig. Never use heating tools, such as curling irons, on your synthetic wig. For a human hair wig, fill a bowl of lukewarm water with a little shampoo. Add some conditioner and swish your wig in the water until clean. Be sure to work the shampoo and conditioner into each strand well, from the base of the wig to the ends of the hair. Rinse thoroughly with warm water. Never use hot water on your wigs. When you finish washing the wig, hold the base of the wig and begin combing the hair out from the ends of the hair. Work up toward the base, removing tangles as you go. After brushing, allow the wig to finish drying naturally.
